Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. The edges of the slashes protrude outwards. Condition: This work is in very good condition. A few scattered minute spots of white media accretion have adhered to the work's surface in the right half of the composition, visible upon close inspection only. A faint horizontal white rub mark can be noticed to the bottom left edge. There are a few fine horizontal hairline cracks to the extreme edges of the slashes, with some minor associated media losses, as well as a few further hairline cracks between the second and third slashes. There is a further light feather crack to the left edge, approximately halfway down. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
