Condition
The board is sound. There is some minor surface dirt otherwise in good original condition with some strong passages of impasto throughout.
Under ultraviolet light, there is a spot of old retouching that appears to be the artist's hand in the upper left quadrant.
Held in its original plaster gilt frame.
