There are two spots of staining towards the centre of the right edge, these were probably caused by varnish or a similair medium. The work appears to be in its original condition. Behind glass and held within a gilt wood frame. Unexamined out of its frame. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no evidence of retouching.
