Condition
The work has been chipped to the left side of the upper edge. There are some fine horizontal cracks in the paintwork within the upper right quadrant. Otherwise the work appears to be in good condition. Held in a decorative gilt wood and plaster frame with a hessian slip.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals patches and spots of retouching towards the upper and left edges.
