Condition
The upper edge is slightly worn due to frame abrasion. Otherwise the work appears to be in its original condition with areas of rich impasto and crisp, clean colours throughout. Held in an ornate gilt wood and plaster frame. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no evidence of retouching.
