Condition
The work has been re-lined. The paint surface is thick with impasto. There are some small areas of craquelure, particularly in the upper right and lower left quadrants. Held in a dark, gilt wood and plaster frame.
Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals small areas of fluorescence but these appear to be the reworkings of the artist.
