Condition
The board is in good overall condition.
There are one or two white marks in the lower left quadrant which may be tiny abrasions to the paint surface but they also may be the marks of the artist. There are two small spots of paint loss along the right edge in the lower right quadrant. There are also some light abrasions to paint along the edges of the board. The paint surface is otherwise in good overall condition. The impasto is thick and well preserved.
There is no sign of retouching under ultra-violet light.
Held in a gilded wooden frame with a canvas slip.
