Condition

The work is on wove paper which has not been laid down. The paper manufacturer's stamp can be seen in the lower left quadrant. The sheet undulates slightly across the surface and the edges are deckled. Vertical creases are visible along the very ends of the left and right edges of the sheet. There are areas of very light paint loss where the sheet is creased along the left and right edges. There appear to be two light abrasions along the edges of the sheet in the lower left quadrant. There is a surface mark on the red paint in the lower left quadrant which may be a mark of the artist. There is no sign of retouching under ultra-violet light. Presented under glass in a white frame.
