Work on first canvas.
From a first hand inspection there are craquelure due to the thickness of pigments, moreover there is a small loss on the right side of the foot of the man to the fore.
The ultra violet light reveals a thick fluorescent varnish dishomogeneously spread over the surface, no retouch nor restoration.
It is suggested a careful cleansing to give back brightness to the colours and consolidation of the surface.
The overall condition as to the state o preservation is very good.
