  • height 31 1/2 in.; width 5 ft. 4 in.; depth 32 1/2 in.
  • 80 cm; 162.5 cm; 82.5 cm
the top set with a later gilt-tooled brown leather writing surface, the frieze with five drawers, the back similarly decorated with faux drawers, each side with pull-out writing slides above a large acanthus and laurel cast mount, marks MB to the reverse of each handle from the bronze master model. 

Condition

Tarnishing to gilt-bronze mostly to the border. Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Minor scratches to later leather top. The top with a 1/4 in. square replacement to mahogany veneer resulting in a visible square of a lighter color. The frieze drawer with four flowers poorly recast.
