each surmounted by a budform finial above an athenian collar and flanked by scrolled handles draped in husk swags, supported on a foliate socle on a square base.

Condition

Overall good condition; the onyx with very minor chips and wear to the edges and with some minor scratches to the surface; the gilt-bronze cleaned and now with traces of dirt, pitting, minor tarnishing; the onyx bases each with a chanel to the underside possibly for an electric cord; possibly once fitted for electricity.
