Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks to veneers and carcass consistent with age and use. Slight tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places. The casting and chasing is very impressive and is consistent with mid-19th century high quality bronze work. Minor chips to marble edges. It was once broken on the left hand side now showing traces of repair and filler.
