Description

each piece engraved with a neoclassical pattern of foliate scrollwork, comprising: fourteen cordial glasses, sixteen sherry glasses, ten red wine glasses, twelve white wine glasses, fifteen sherbert glasses, fifteen champagne glasses, fourteen tall tumblers, fourteen short tumblers, fourteen berry dishes, ten butter pats, one large saucer dish, fifteen finger bowls and stands, one water jug, two wine jugs, one decanter and stopper, four candlesticks with bobèches, and two butter pats each etched with a floral meander, most with engraved JLL grid mark.  Minor chips. 161 pieces.

Condition

In overall generally good condition except for: one sherry glass with a one inch long triangular piece that was broken and repaired back, two sherry glasses with very minor very small pinhole chips to their rims, five white wine glasses with very minor very small pinhole chips to their rims, one tall tumbler with a very minor very small pinhole chip to the outer rim, one berry dish with a very minor very small chip to the rim, one finger bowl with a minor 1/8 inch chip to the rim, one of the etched floral butter pats with two minor 1/8 inch rim chips. Additionally one of the sherry-size glasses was a white wine glass the rim of which was ground down, and it has a two inch long triangular section that was broken and glued back.
