Description

the ovoid body painted with roses and fitted on a revolving stem and a shaded turquoise foot, printed factory mark. Some restoration.

Condition

Cover lacking. The circular foot and stem are well-restored and completely oversprayed, it could have been broken through the stem but the spray mikes it impossible to determine the full nature of the original damage. Two corners of the base each have a minor 1/2 in. shallow chip and there is some wear to the gilding of the base. The rim of the vase has been re-gilt, covering minor restored chips.
