the circular top inset with a large porcelain plaque painted with a family saying farewell to their son, the border with eighteen small oval porcelain plaques painted with beauties, the central plaque signed D. s Greuze.

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual scratches, dents and nicks consistent with age and use and mostly to bottom edge. One corner of the incurved base platform with a large area of scratches and dents. The central plaque with a crack to right bottom of approx 6 inches and areas of repainting mostly to the gilt highlights.
