the rectangular form top inset with a pietra dura panel of two birds in flight holding a ribbon within a foliate Moorish gilt-bronze border opening to a red velvet-lined interior, on a molded stepped rectangular base.

Condition

Overall good condition, with losses to the velvet lining, very minor scratches to the pietra dura, usual traces of dirt and minor scratches and wear to the gilt-bronze.
