Description

  • height 49 1/4 in. (125cm)
each figure on a square base mounted at the corners with profile heads in wreathes below a truncated column with classical masks in arabesque frames, the stem formed as a fully modeled Vestal in clinging drapery with crossed arms and braids, topped by a dish with four swan-form arms each with two sconces, separated by serpents holding water-filled shells holding sconces, all centered by tall urns chased with stiff leaves, surrounded by four openwork brackets and topped by a sconce; bearing pseudo-marks for Naples, early 19th century
