the circular top inset with a central plaque depicting Marie Antoinette and surrounded by a further twelve plaques depicting court beauties.

Condition

Overall in good condition with the usual minor scratches, dents and nicks consistent with age and use. Slight tarnishing to gilt-bronze in places. The giltwood redecorated with paint in places. One leg formerly broken and now restored.
