5 leaves (including a single bifolium) from three separate manuscripts; (a) single Bible leaf, 462mm. by 365mm., double column, 37 lines, in light brown ink, in a good gothic liturgical hand, capitals touched in red, book-titles in red ('Lib(er) … Paralipomenon II', 2 Chronicles 29-30), horizontal catchword, later numeric quire signature  'XV1', and single line of contemporary gloss on verso, probably Italy, c.1200; (b) bifolium from glossed Bible, approximately 570mm. by 400mm., single column, 27 lines, in black ink in two sizes of liturgical hands, paragraph marks and book-titles in red or blue, four 1-line initials in alternate red or blue with contrasting penwork flourishing, Italy, c.1200; (c) two separate leaves from a breviary, including an excerpt from the Life of St.Thais, approximately 400mm. by 325mm., single column, 28 lines, in black ink in a rounded liturgical hand, rubric in red, single large 4-line initial 'S' in light brown on a blue and brown ground with penwork in white and red, compartments of initial enclosing foliage design in blue and orange touched in white, Italy, late thirteenth century; all recovered from bindings and somewhat defective
