The paint surface appears to be in good stable condition and clean.
UNDER UV LIGHT:
Under UV Light some strong restorations appear in the top left hand corner and along the horizon. Some further smaller retouchings appear in the top right hand corner.
FRAME:
Contained in a modern plaster moulded gilt frame.
COLOUR COMPARISON:
Not as red/orange as the catalogue illustration suggests.
