Condition

STRUCTURE: Relined. SURFACE: The paint surface is in good stable condition, dirty and should benefit from cleaning. One small scuff mark appears in the sky in the left corner. UV LIGHT: Under UV, small retouchings appear in the bottom right hand quarter although these are not extensive. One minor spot appears on the gentleman's coat. Three further spots appear in the sky in the top left quarter. FRAME: Contained in a plaster gilt painted wood frame. COLOUR COMPARISON: Original colours appear darker than the catalogue illustration suggests
