Condition
STRUCTURE:
Unlined. Canvas is loose in its frame.
SURFACE:
One small hole in the beach on the bottom left hand. Another on the top edge in the right hand quarter. Surface cracquelure appears throughout the canvas and there are one or two tiny losses of paint. The painting is dirty and should benefit from cleaning.
UV LIGHT:
Under UV Light there appears to be no evidence of retouching.
FRAME:
Contained in original Victorian gilt wood and plaster frame (damaged).
