- 75 by 95cm.; 29½ by 37½in.

Condition
The canvas has been lined.
Examination under ultraviolet light rveals an old damage in the lower right hand corner with associated repaint. There is an horizontal line of retouching in the sky. This has discoloured slightly and is visible under a strong white light. There is a passage of retouching to the sitter's left shoulder. There is evidence of other minor touches in the corners of the painting and in the sky. A layer of varnish prevents further analysis.
Held in a gilt wood frame.
