Description

of classic stylized form, with finely carved pointed chin, diminutive grooved mouth, broad facial panel with high cheekbones carved in subtle relief, attenuated aquiline nose merging to a deeply incised linear mark on the tapering forehead, close-set eyes beneath slightly arched brows, an asymmetrical pattern of linear elements on the reverse; rich deep brown patina overall, a lighter area on the mouth.
