Catalogue Note
A courtier feeds pigeons accompanied by a female attendant, the verso inscribed in Devanagari and Takri naming the subject. Compare with a related painting in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum illustrated in Klaus Ebeling, Ragamala Painting, 1973, p. 282, no. 334.
