Description

standing upon a lotus base with right knee elegantly bent, draped in long ropes of jewels hollowed to receive inlaid gemstones, the right hand pendant and grasping the folds of the long skirts and flowing scarves lightly in the splayed fingers, while the left hand bent up to support a kundika bottle, the face serene and the topknot adorned with foliate tiara bearing a central figure of seated Buddha Amitabha

Condition

There is a 1/2 inch break to bottom of the right scarf near the knee. The scarf near the left ankle has a restored crack. There is a chip 1/8 inch wide to the back of the left scarf near the head. There is ample gilding remaining with expected wear to the surface; there is also encrustation on the left neck and cheek. The overall condition is quite good.
