dressed in monk's robes and seated in bhadrasana on a cushion pedestal, inscribed on the reverse, his right hand in vitarka mudra, the gesture of argumentation, with his right holding a sutra resting in his lap

Condition

In extremely good condition. Minimal rubbing of gilding, mainly on high points. Original gilded consecration base plate. Paint on face worn on high points, and a few chips out of white paint on hair. No restoration.
