Description
a large central gilded stupa rising out of a bronze lotus, with tendrils supporting four smaller stupas forming a mandala, the central spire set with a crystal at the apex, and gems inset in the four quadrants of the dome
Condition
In good overall condition. The gilding rubbed on the high points and the dome of each stupa. Accretion from butter lamp smoke and incense on the underside of each stupa and around the tendrils. One of the smaller four stupas is a modern replacement. Two loops at the top of the central stupa would have held a separately cast parasol now missing.
