finely carved with the beast seated on its rear haunches upon a tall rectangular plinth, her head cocked to one side and right paw playfully wrestling with her cub which lies animatedly on its back, her jaws open to expose sharp teeth and a broad curled tongue below the bulging eyes framed by a full mane of tight curly tufts, tied around the neck with a collar suspending bells and tassels, her long bushy tail swept to the side, all atop a stepped base with lappet and incised floral borders

This is in good overall condition with expected chips to the base, particularly around the front two legs, one at the back leg, and along the plinth.
