Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting has been recently restored and should be hung in its current state. The canvas has been lined with glue and the paint layer is stable. The main restoration to this well preserved picture is in the sky in the center where a tear, measuring approximately three by one and a half inches, has been retouched. In the white fur of the dog on the far right in its neck there are some cracks that have been retouched. Other than this the picture is in lovely condition and despite the damage in the sky, it is highly recommended.
