Condition
STRUCTURE
This picture is unlined and in very good condition with clear colouring are detail throughout. here is a small wax patch applied to the reverse, probably to repair a small hole in the canvas. This has been well applied and the repair is not visible from the front. There are no signs of craquelure and the paint surface appears stable throughout. The picture is clean and ready to hang.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There is a small area of minor retouching which corresponds to the wax patch on the reverse. This is in the area close to the baby's foot.

Contained in a moulded plaster frame.
