Condition
STRUCTURE
This picture is relined and in very good clean condition. The colours are strong and there is fine detail. There is craquelure throughout but the paint surface appears to be stable.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There is infilling to the craquelure and a repaired tear to the girl's skirt, above the child's hat.
FRAME
This picture is contained in a plaster moulded gilt frame.
