Condition

STRUCTURE This picture appears to be unlined and is in very good condition with clear colouring and fine detail. There are no signs of craquelure and the paint surface appears to be clean and stable throughout. The picture is ready to hang. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT There are flecked retouchings around the head of the dog on the extreme right and around the horses in the background. There may be further minor retouchings but the retouchings are minor and all have been well executed and are not visible to the naked eye. FRAME Contained in an attractive moulded plaster frame.
