STRUCTURE
This picture is in good original condition with clear colouring and rich texture throughout. The paint surface is stable and clean and there are no signs of craquelure. The board is flat and there are no signs of warping. There is a very minor paint loss to the right of the composition and wo futher smaller losses close to the top edge of the picture - these are only visible upon close inspection.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There are no visible signs of retouching.

This picture is contained in a Victorian-style gilt frame.
