Condition
Original canvas which is a little slack on the stretcher. The paint surface is slightly dirty with some spots of staining and media marks to the lower portion of the picture. A few fine lines of craquelure are visible in places in the sea. Examination under uv light reveals some spots of retouching to the sky. Held in a gold painted moulded plaster frame. Some rubbing in places. Unexamined out of frame.
