Condition

Original canvas. There is a layer of light surface dirt. Examination under UV light reveals an uneven layer of opaque varnish and evidence of a few minor spots of retouching in places. Held in a gold-painted carved wooden frame. Unexamined out of frame. The reverse of the canvas has been covered with a protective board.
