It is exceptionally rare to find a crowned military star and badge from the Order of St. Anne for sale at auction. A single badge from the civil division, also by Julius Keibel was sold Sotheby's, London, 19th May 2005, lot 188, another sold Sotheby's, London, 28th November 2006, lot 398.
