  • height: 73cm., 28¾in
mounted as a lamp, of tapering bulbous form, the body painted in Japanese Imari style with scrolling foliage, flowers and mythical animals and decorated with impressive ormolu mounts imitating Asian designs

Condition

One of the bronze handles is completely detached at the top. The bronze mounts have possibly been partially regilded. There are flecks of paintloss to the green leaves and further slight rubbing to the gilding consistent with age.
