depicted full length against an ochre ground

Condition

There are two horizontal struts to the reverse. The paint surface is dirty and there is a layer of discoloured varnish. There are chips to the paint surface exposing gesso at the edges, the centre of the Virgin's blue robe and her cheek. There is further paint loss to the maphoriom and craqulure throughout. The silver is worn. We would advise prospective buyers to view.
