A russian silver and enamel punch set, ovchinnikov, moscow, 1894/1895

comprising Bratina, Tray, six Charki and a Ladle, the bratina colorfully enameled with birds amongst scrolling foliage, each charka and the ladle similarly enameled, the tray with six reserves for the charki, inscribed in German, "From H.I.H. Grand Duke Sergei of Russia, on the occasion of the 275th anniversary of the Grand Duke of Hesse's 115th Lifeguard Regiment / 11th of March, 1621-1896"

Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich (1857-1905), Governor of Moscow (1890-1905), married Elizabeth, Princess of Hesse in 1884.
