Etching, 1859, from the Thames set, on chine collĂ© affixed to Japan paper, with wide margins, in good condition apart from a short nick at the right sheet edge, the margins with pale light- and mat stain, slight surface soiling, framed

Condition

The print is in good condition as catalogued. The paper tone in the margins has been darkened by exposure to light and to an acidic mat. Additionally there is some light surface soiling and a shallow nick measuring c. 1/3 inch is visible at the right sheet edge.
