Chiaroscuro woodcut printed in black and greenish-brown, second quarter 16th century, on laid paper, with a shield surmounted by a star watermark, trimmed to the oval borderline, several restored small holes and paper losses at the sheet edges
Condition
The print has several restored small holes throughout the sheet. There are also paper losses at the upper and lower sheet edges that have been repaired and backed with Japanese paper.
