Engraving, 1556, on laid paper, with a cross (?) in a circle surmounted by a fleur de lys watermark, several vertical creases through the sheet, one with an attendant repaired tear at the lower sheet edge

Condition

The sheet has three vertical creases, one at center, one three inches to the right of center (which has torn at the lower sheet edge and is backed with Japan fibers), and one more one inch to the right. There is pale surface soiling throughout.
