Description

  • Harold Edgerton
  • selected motion studies of a golfer
a group of 13 photographs, ferrotyped, four numbered in pencil in an unidentified hand, and one with an 'A. G. Spalding & Bros., Inc.' stamp on the reverse, circa 1938 (13)

Condition

These ferrotyped prints, each on single-weight paper, are in generally good condition. In raking light, faint pitting and minor surface scratches, typical of ferrotyped prints, are visible. Also, visible in raking light on a number of the prints are small soft and hard handling creases that do not break the emulsion. Many of the prints have adhesive residue at the corners, and some have lost small amounts of emulsion from the removal of the adhesive. These photographs are enclosed in an early 5x7 print sleeve.
