Hasse Person is a Swedish photojournalist of distinction, now for many years also a curator of photography.  He has been influential as a conduit whereby a large number of contemporary photographers have been seen in Sweden, and his own work is held by leading Swedish museums.
The present series, created in the heyday of the famous New York night club Studio 54, was exhibited in 2006 at the Museum of Modern Art in Moscow.
