Description

- 'Footballer Punching, Brindley Road, Paddington', 1956
Outsize vintage silver print, signed, titled and and dated in pencil on the reverse, and also bearing there the inscription in the artist's hand 'Vintage print c.1959'. Framed.
Condition
A Chinagraph pencil mark runs down the left-most subject. The negative was not well cleaned at the time the print was made. The edges have slightly rippled over time, and the corners are a little chipped, with a few tiny holes present in the upper right corner. There are slight signs of silvering, more intense in the very dark areas outside the image boundaries to left and right. Overal condition is excellent, however, in spite of these remarks.
