Condition

The single panel is stable, with a slight bow. The paint surface is in fair condition with some scattered discoloured retouchings and some more extensive retouchings in the sky. Inspection under UV light reveals further, quite extensive strengthenings to the foreground and figures. Offered in a later painted wood frame which has suffered some knocks.
