Condition

The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure with some craquelure particularly in the lower areas. There are some scattered minor retouchings and restored paint losses. The thick old varnish impedes satisfactory inspection under ultra violet light. The lot is offered in a carved gilt wood frame which has suffered some knocks and losses.
