Condition

The catalogue illustration is fair though the painting is perhaps a little lighter in colour. The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is quite abraded, for example upper centre in the background. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals some r and strengthenings. The lot is offered in an ebonised frame which is quite damged with some chips.
