Condition

The support consists of a single flat panel which is uncradled. The paint surface is generally secure and under a thick discoloured varnish. Scattered discoloured retouchings are visible to the naked eye throughout. The masking varnish prevents satisfactory inspection under UV light although some retouchings can be made out underneath, particularly in the sky. Offered in a plain wooden frame in fair condition with some minor knocks.
